EREMITE POETRY

JOSH PAMPAM

Dying Art

Last night, out of my heart
A gush, like water from the hill
Draggled my marooned mind
For hours -- the oriel in my brain
Opened submission to shadowy
Thoughts and svelte wits

Like hoar caught by the sun
So is my skin under a cool whirling
Like the roof stolen by the storm
I'd brave ears, yet they'd not
Defeat my sights that saw
The battery of poetry by some

So bad I couldn't help an art
Bruised by brawny stats
