EREMITE POETRY

SILENCE

Ivan S. Fiske Iv
the darkness knows many ways
to shut my eyes from speaking.

chilly breeze, ghostly touch
tingling my skin;
fear seeps into me.

alone and afraid
my body becomes as silent as a mute phone
till sleep swallows me
